Rain sliding help!!

I went rain boarding in the Bp's the other day, and i couldnt do a singal standups (the ones were u hold it at a 90 degree angle) my board would just slip out any suggestion?

don't skate bps in the wet if you're
gonna bail a bunch. that being said, start
on a smaller incline and don't lean as
much, try to stay over your board with
your legs bent.
