Skate season

Hi, Im thinking about going on exchange to
vancouver, im currently studying in copenhagen.
What Im wondering is when you guys stop skating
and start snowboarding? If I start in
september, do I only get one ok month of
skating before the snow and cold settle in? Do
you have any comps. that late into the season?

once your in september you got like 2
months of good weather, then it starts
getting cold and occasionally wet for a
bit followed by rain till april
not many contests after september
