starter longboard

i need some help with my first longboard, ive longboarded before but never owned one. if ant one can tell me wut is a good starter board plz help.

My first board was a sector9 wedge. I like it alot and it's good for cruising.. not necessarily for going all too fast though (not for me at least :P ) but it's nice to ride a higher mounted deck for a while cuz once you switch to a something lower pushing will seem like a breeze

get a hellcat or an avenger if you ask me. both are suitable for speed or carving with some randal r2s. they wont cost you an arm and a leg, and its made out of bamboo. save a tree ride a weed.
