I want to publicly thank Daniel Pape and Colabo for their most recent video. There is an...event...in the works for 2009 and I went to meet with some people yesterday about it. I wanted to bring some DH footage with me to show what the sport was all about. After pouring over countless videos from youtube, google, blip, etc etc I settled on the most recent Colabo video.
I started the meeting off with the video and eyes popped and jaws hit the floor. The part with (I don't know the interviewer) interviewing the Dad and his kid watching an event was a major kicker. Largely in part to this video they went completely 100% behind what I was proposing and agreed to work with me on the next step for the event.
Provided this level of success continues, you can thank Daniel Pape and Colabo in a big way for a very unique event hitting gravity sports racing in early summer 2009.
Thank you Daniel and all the riders, photographers, and editors on Colabo.
