VERNON DH 2008 - The 4th one!

Ok, I am still in Sydney at the moment but I need to give
you the heads up. I will be launching a new website this
following week and it will have all the information you
need. Online registration will be available through PayPal
and the classic onsite cash as well. All registration must
be made by Saturday the 21st, before the race.
Big changes to this year include, the sanctioning of the
event into a National IGSA event. This brings with it some
new rules and gear enforcement. Please take the time to
read through the IGSA rule book.
Major rule changes from previous years include an
unlimited push, mandatory leathers and a tech inspection.
The event will remain a one day event, where tech
inspection will be held on Saturday during registration.
The new entry fee this year is $80. Don't cry about the
increase, just get ready for what you will get in return! I
hope most of you know that I don't care about profit, I'd
rather see you all with smiles on your faces and leaving
Vernon having a wicked time!
A small heads up: Residents in a large majority have
commented on foul language and the use of drugs in the neighbourhood. This leads me to begin enforcing this to
sustain the event in the future. ALSO, NOTE THAT
ANYONE RIDING THE HILL PRIOR TO THE RACE YOU WILL
GET DISQUALIFIED FROM THE RACE. I really rely on basis
that I use this road for one day in the year and therefore
do not need anyone ruining this.

As much as i would love to get over this year, it doesnt look like ill be able to get the funds together. Though, the plan is, next year head to Vernon, stay there for a little, then head to europe for the 3 races there. Hopefully all goes to plan!
