Hey, im about 1 year old in the longboard scene. i'm loving my evo set up..bears and hawgs all that sick shit.
I need to find some fun loving people to show me some sick hills. I live on cambie and 61st and have thursdays and fridays off (haven't hit up many hills out of my area).
hit me up if you want to organize a ride/tour..maybe ubc area???

SICK! too bad we missed you today we had a kits session! rad! anyways there's not too bad of a hill at the military base on 4th and highbury (i think that's the street, one block west of alma) ignore the no trespassing signs (they won't kick you off they definitely saw us today) and move to the back upper southwest corner and that's the top of the hill either the smooth decline into the left the sweeper right into two consecutive lefts (make the last left, it's the best one) or the janky right-left s-turny thing into the sweeper and lefts. fun little manageable beginner hill, but watch out for the oversized curbs, they kinda hurt if you take your line too outside...if you wanna bomb fourth tomorrow at like one or two gimme a call (ill be off work) and we can meet at UBC or at blanca and fourth, it's pretty fast for urban but totally fine if you tighten your trucks up (unless you're comfortable with loose trucks) great first speed hill cause there's a bike lane!
