mountain boards

english posted,

On top of beautiful roads on saltspring...there are many dirt roads, muddy trails and long grassy hills.
I buoght a mountain board, built huge gloves. Do these things drift on dirt roads? If I can control wobs on a longboard at speed will I get speed wobble on a mountain board? What am I in for?

I used to mountainboard quite a bit before i started getting more into skating.

You'll be fine. Gravel roads are sketch, kinda like riding on bumpy ice if that makes sense. you'll be drifting turns if gravels the case, thats for sure. Pack hard dirt is best and you slide, drift that too. I used to ride no breaks and just pull pendy's for stopping. Great fun man, I want to get and do it more, but everytime its nice outside I just go skate now. enjoy.
