racer would respect that rule...no doubt about it in
my mind at all. Unfortunatley though, not everyone
there is a racer...and "they" are the ones that are
going to do the damage, if any. on the bright side
of that though, everyone there is there becuase they
probably know someone that is racing.
assure all racers that they are responsible for
anyone that they bring along for the ride. someone
you know fucks up...your disqualified., give your
spot to someone on the waiting list that deserves to
be on it!

Longboarding is all about noncomformity and pushing the envelope, so I see where the outrage (and threats) are coming from. BUT, realize that all of you guys have created the world's biggest downhill event, and you've got a whole community backing you to have the event here. AND, Strike is right, this could be the last one... IF some idiot decides to perform on the off-limits zone. Right or wrong, the SCRD basically owns Lions Park now and it is no longer the freewheeling area that it was. The SCRD is as passionate about this field as you are about longboarding, and they will shut you down if you mess with it. Simple. So please, do NOT fuck it up for everyone else.
How's that for a long-winded bump?
