ATTENTION DB7 CAMPERS:
when in the Camp:
the following are NOT allowed on site or to be used:
- NO Firearms or similar (pellet, live ammo, paintball or airsoft
or archery equipment)
- NO fireworks
- No ATV's, dirtbikes or dunebuggies or racing carts in camp
- NO trespass on the new soccer field
- NO drunk driving (this should be obvious), but.....
Violations of the above will result in the immediate confiscation of gear, equipment etc, and in the offender losing their camping privileges for the rest of the weekend.
- Theft of belongings will NOT be tolerated. Offenders will be escorted off the Camp site for the remainder of DB7 and/or reported to the RCMP.
ALL Campers AGREE to these Terms & Conditions when they pay their Camping Fees. Those that disagree with the DB7 Camp Terms & Conditions, may instead choose to camp elsewhere in Pender Harbour.
and last but not least......a touchy subject but one DB Security has to deal with on occasion: The Police will be called in to investigate complaints of rape, sexual assault, physical assault
etc. I would strongly encourage ANY camper under mental, physical, or medical duress to contact me personally for a CONFIDENTIAL conversation or to file a complaint report. I have an excellent
background in mental health counseling and incident investigation and am more than willing to listen. In the case of female campers wish to report an issue or talk, a female Security staff member will assist you, if you are more comfortable talking to a female staff about such issues.
ALL such complaints will be investigated and may be reported to the RCMP if need be, and all such reports or conversations with
Security are 100% confidential. Notes will taken at the time of complaint, those notes will NOT be disclosed except to the Police,
Medics.
DO's
DO keep the Campsite clean, pick up your garbage, recycle your empties - Security Staff are not your personal attendants!
DO have fun! its DB7!!!!
DO turn in Found items to the Security Desk (purses, ID, wallets and other valuables will be logged in a book and locked up until they can be returned to the rightful owner.
DO report any problems or concerns to Security (ie out of control fires, dangerous animals, medical emergencies etc etc)
DO give Security a beer now and then, we work for free looking out for you, and we love cold beer!
