My evo broke about a month ago, and it was a nine ply. I finally got my new board. And it's 11 ply. I want to shave it down with a sander or something. But im not sure if that would like, destroy the board or something.
safety concerns ? any advice

buy the carbon fibre evo if you're worried about the weight. I'd get one if i had the money and i'd only get it when i get better at longboarding and enter a couple of races. carbon fibre evo is the one board that you hardly ever see anyone with.
