LY Drop Carve Fibre Glass Weight Question.

Ok Well I bought a Landy Drop Carve Fibre glass board I absolutely love this board. I first fell in love with it when my Ex Girlfriend bought it as her first board.
But I have a problem with my baby. I cracked right in the deepest part of the cutout and through the edge of the drop through hole. The thing is it was never ran over or abused.I used it for cruising and carving around my town.
I weight about 160-170 pounds and I was wondering if I was too heavy for this board or if maybe I just got one that had a flaw in it or something. I bought this board from Pipeline Surf in Edmonton Alberta roughly about a month ago.
Any answers?

I would definitely shoot an email over to landy to ask if they know of any other failure like that. I wouldn't think that would be a normal use kind of fracture but I could be mistaken. Definitely shoot them an email before the coast flame session starts though, it's pretty inevitable with what appears to be a production flaw like this from normal use.
