Saturday Sessions?

I just moved to Vancouver from the island. I wanted to check out the saturday session and someone told me that it got shut down by the cops or something. So i'm wondering does anyone still meet up every saturday? I am looking for some people to ride with this weekend...I'm thinkin british properties.

"Unfortunately, the spreading stoke from these sessions is causing an increasing number of complaints and an increasing number of police incidents. Continuing these sessions and heating out spots is a selfish way of thinking - this sport isn't going to go anywhere soon so we shouldn't let our spots go!!! As such, the Saturday Sessions will be diffused after this Saturday until the fall/winter season hits us once more. "
