upcoming safety tutorials

serial5 posted,

There will be two safety tutorials coming up so riders can learn to footbrake, shutdown slide, pendulum and drift corners so as to be able to tackle difficult situations on the road in a safe manner.

SURVIVE - Sept. 27th - A session for beginners, interested riders can show up and get footbraking techniques dialed, shape up form for shutdown slides in cases of need and possibly learn pendulums.

THRIVE - Oct. 4th - A session for intermediates, interested riders can show up to figure out and achieve both heelside and toeside shutdown slides and pendulums as well as drift corners effectively.

These tutorials are FREE!! Those interested, please post here and/or email me so we can get a rough idea on numbers. Riders will be meeting at the Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver at noon on both Saturdays, unless it's raining, in which case the date will move to the next day (Sunday), rain or shine.

Helmets are MANDATORY; any additional pads and/or gloves are STRONGLY recommended.

Any questions, post them here! Poster to come...
