Tad, Kyle, and Sheldon had a really hard fall yesterday. Unfortunetly Tad got the worst of it. On a new road we were checking out (one that I found, feel a little bad for that) yesterday. I'll give the short story cause I didn't see the whole thing and Dennis tells it best.
Basically Tad was coming in hot with a good line onto a tight right hand sweeper but had to adjust due to Kyle who fell in front of him. Kyle didn't really get in his way according to Tad but Kyle hit a parked tractor hard and it freaked Tad out. While getting up to foot break he highsided backwards straight to the ground. Smashing the back of his BRAND NEW, FIRST TIME WORN, Charly No limit. As Tad scrambled to get up, he must have been pretty dazed already and stumbled right into the path of Sheldon who was coming around the corner tucked. A blind corner, and too late for sheldon to do anything but clap, he hit Tad, flipping him over his back, and dislocating his shoulder. Sheldon got rung pretty good to with some gashes in his forehead from his own helmet. Tads jaw piece on his helmet had gnar stress fractures in it from the impact and Tads inner cheek got really cut up from his teeth.
So three dudes down. Three ambulances, 2 cop cars, a fire truck, and a whole road shut down with unpatient drivers. Pretty serious stuff. All three went to the hospital. Sheldon and Kyle while shaken up and bad headaches where realeased within an hour or two. Tad got out about 2 hours later after having his shoulder put back in and monitered for a while. Its amazing that he came out with only the injuries he did. I was driving that run and I heard the helmets clang with all windows rolled up and 150ft away.
Good news, everyone is okay. Everyone was wearing leathers, fullface, and the EMT's and paramedics were impressed by the fact we werent completely clueless. A lady was on the scene first was a first responder on her way home and was a HUGE help.
Cops were NOT stoked though, so we'll be keeping it on the DL for a little while.

Forgot to mention. THEY HAD TO CUT HIS NEW LEATHERS OFF! So sad seeing that, Tad was very bummed.
