Galiano Bombing and Larry Campbell!

Went up to Galiano a few weeks ago and bombed some gnarley hills with Clay and the dogs. We found a road closed to the public and freshly paved so we went and checked it out. We ended up at some beautiful provincial park called Dionisio Park. It's huge and you can only really get there by boat. The hills on the way there were pretty fun. When we finally got back to our van the damn battery was dead. After one hour of waiting for anyone, SOMEONE....Guess who shows up outta nowhere?
Larry Campbell the old mayor of Vancouver who legalized skateboarding in Vancouver!!! He had an electric car and jumped our van for us! It was so funny. Him and his friends invited us for drinks with them but we had to go soon....So next time we go, we'll go to his place for a drink.
I have some pics on my camera, once I buy rechargable batteries I'll send them in.
Anyways the pavement over there is GNARLEY piss poor and pot holes and then some roads are brand new... fun little island to ride and only one cop, wuhaaaa!
