Because she is too broke to buy any.

But doesn't have anything to cut cutting board.
Nor has any idea what can withstand the pressure of body on pavement.
I'm using velcro cuz thats how i roll right now.
What can i use for pucks?
Do you think a hockey puck might work?
What are they made of?
Anyone. Help this damsel in distress.

Any hard plastic will work. Cutting board is cheap,
easy to come by, and is easy to work with. UHMW is
a type of plastic commonly used in cutting boards
that many prefer for its long life, and great wear
patterns.

Talk to a plastics company around and ask for
scraps... Usually they can be had for free.

Velcro is good style as long as it is attached to the
puck, and the glove securely.

If you're worried about velcro not being strong enough and you have a cheap pair of gloves, just blowtorch the plastic puck evenly (um, don't breathe) and stick it right onto the glove.

That's how i've been doing it, and it'll never come off. Plus the pucks I've cut out from canadian tire cutting boards lasts plenty long enough.

I would not suggest hockey pucks... they wont slide
on the road.
