Carbon Nanotube Hive Core Firefly with pics

The Mantis posted,

Okay so for all you gear whores out there, HERE IT IS! Insect has raised the bar by which all other speedboards are judged. This is, hands down, the most sophisticated and complete speedboard deck I've ever had the priviledge of possessing. With the new "hive core" honey comb, this board is stiffest and lightest thing I've ever ridden. So without further ado: the 2008 CFNT Honeycomb Firefly. First, the specs:
Length: 40" (103.5cm)
Width: 9-5/8" (24.5cm)
Wheelbases (inner hole to inner hole): 30"/31"/32" (76.2cm/78.8cm/81.3cm)
Concave: Deep Tub 3/4" with 1" of centerflat
Rocker: 1/4", centered
Weight, gripped and unmounted: 4.04lbs
Weight, mounted: (Bear Smokies 190, Sector 9 76mm 78a RF GOS wheels) 8.6lbs
Ride Height, with above setup: 4" (10.16 cm) to center of topsheet
Cutout Length: Nose 6" (15.2 cm), Tail 7.5" (19.0 cm)
Standing Platform Length: 26.5" (67.3cm) from cutout to cutout
Now, The pics!

This carbon board is so stiff and so light! This design is everything I've wanted in a speedboard, and now it's a dream come true. I can't wait to go charge some serious downhill on this thing.

Thanks to Steve for getting me on the team, and for patiently listening to Shane, Spencer and I help him design the perfect speedboard. Thanks to Elijah for getting it to me and for all he's done for the Insect Swarm.
