Hey I just recieved a ticket in the MAIL.. due to skateboarding on chaorlift road on december 6th.. they have NO proof that I was actually skateboarding, they are going off the fact that a red chevrolet registerd in my name was parked on that block when they came to check up on "25-30" skateboarders.. she didnt hand out any tickets on site.. can she legally give me this ticket after the fact? even that she has no proof that I was skateboarding just the fact that my car was there.. ps anyone else get one of these?

dude i so called it, i thought this might happen. i say fight the ticket and go to court. i hear that they usualy wave the ticket if you acctually show up

I'm sorry to hear the Sessions have reached a new low. Hell, I got one in the mail as well and I wasn't even skating!! I think everyone will be laughing about this in retrospect but I find it disgusting that the bi-law officer took such a dirty approach without realizing that we did everything we could have done(helmets/pads, spotters, historical advice from other officers, left when asked) to prevent the issuance of tickets proves her ignorance of what we do. Nonetheless, it is a risk of our sport and proves you can't win 'em all!! Skate safe and have fun.

take transit, leave your cars and wallets at home, when asked give them a fake name or just bomb away....

It'd probably cost us the price of a beer each, at most.
