How Snowy is Van right now?

I'm flying into Vancouver on Sunday, and I am wondering whether or not I should even bring a skateboard. I hear ya'll are getting record snowfall. What is the chance of it melting out enough for some wet n' wild skateboarding?

The snow is supposed to taper off on sunday and turn into rain since the temperature will be above freezing.
Considering how much snow is still left on side roads, I dont think a week's worth of non stop rain will melt it away and the next morning you're left with deadly ice!
I wouldn't pack a board just looking at the roads here. Some of the untouched snow outside is knee deep but bring something for the Chan center parkade (if they're still going on, need to check)!!

I tried boarding on some roads around deep cove (north van) with minimal snow, and it didn't really work that well at all, even on steeps.
I'd say parkades are the only option. but honestly, our parkades aren't any better than the next city's.

dude, bring a little shit disturber board you can just have fun doing anything with (aka...bring your park board) you can use it to get down parkades...but you can also go skate some of the indoor ramps

sweatshop on hastings and victoria has a skatepark in the basement that does indeed include the LBC ramp! i believe the flat bottom was taken in a bit...but its sick as shit! anti social has a ramp, a little shop on hastings and gore? no not gore...abbott. ? fuck right by the steamlamp. they have a crammed little ramp. plus oodles of backyard ramps belonging to buddies of mine.
