ALL LADIES OF COAST, AND ALL COASTIES GIRLFRIENDS!

kate or die posted,

so ive been talkin about this class stuff....and now the little dudes are talking about doing races, along with it...they are also asking for my help. im a sucker for helping kids, so im probably gonna do it.

I figure though, if i do it...why not benieft from it myself and incorperate an outlaw series of ladies racing too. we could do it from now to the off weekends of the big races, so you have some practice time. i know there are a tooooonnnnnnneeee of you girls out there that just dont show up to the big events. i want you too, and i also want you to be comfortable enough to want to.

would you show up to these? think of it like the ladies clinic or something every couple weeks, just toss in a little competition. NO skills nessesary, you can learn by trial and error. would this be a wasted effort trying to get this together, or do you think its something that you would be interested in? you could count on something at least every second weekend, shooting ideas off eachother and maybe hosting events in the towns of the different participants. i could probably get a van to do some towing if i do enough sweet talking, (kiddos...still bring your parents to drive your asses) and line up some prizes and such.
carly, brianne....maybe you could help out and talk to your respective companies about a little help too?
???
give me some feedback please, i cant do this on my own!
plus, we can combine womens with the little dudes or something dependant on turnout...let you ladies give the little guy a run for his man hood!

lets go have some fun, im finding myself rather over worked and unmotivated latley.

kate or die replied,

yo carly...this is something i'd definatley love to work hand in hand with you over.
your right, there is a bunch of stuff to mull over, but i think we could figure it out and make it a successful series. id say that if enough girls sound interested we'll do it completley seperate from the little dudes...
you think the landy van would be available for something like this...i can work on the sector van with the boardroom as well, it would be putting up enough exposure to make it worth asking...

lets get some email conference happening...drop me a line

kate or die replied,

hey charlie....

its spelled anal, and traffic. :P haha, just kidding! i love you

anyways, there would be enough spotters around to make sure precious little you doesn't get hit.

i just passed the idea to carly about maybe running a ladies clinic very soon for racing...that would be a good start. i think we should start from the bottom and work up so we can encourage as much participation as possible.

any logistics ideas, ladies?

suggestions for races?

kate or die replied,

hey blankman, get off our thread you fucking coward.

anyways...once a month clinics would be badass, teach a couple little things and find a way to have them race a bit at the end to practice what they learned. bri, the ladies outlaw key would be a sweet idea...keep em coming back hungry.

alrighty girlies...tell your friends...this shit is for sure gonna go down.

carly...check your inbox

kate or die replied,

hey stef, there will indeed be posters just to make sure all know whats going on before it goes down. i suggested starting off with a corners clinic. (learning to pass through corners) this will probably go down the last weekend of the month.
as far as the racing goes, we'll figure out stuff like entry fees later on when its established whats actually going on. for now, i just want to get the first clinic done with....

i think a race once a month is totally do-able though, and yeah an entry fee (cheap, small one) will probably be needed....half the pot to the winner, half to the towing vehicles or something...i dont know...

and yes, you can learn how to slide properly at the first race clinic (which i think is why it would be a good idea to start with a clinic...)

kate or die replied,

i mentioned to carly in an email the thought of doing an all day clinic where

a) we start off going over the basics of cornering and sliding, then..

b) do a mini race series that day. have 5 or so pre determined corners (either singles or doubles) get everyone to pair up, and race the corner set. winner moves on and races the next person until a winner for that corner set is determined.
repeat that 5 times at the different spots and determine an overall winner for the day. if it comes down to it, we can take the winners from each seperate corner and send them on a race down a run!

i think this would be good because it would focus on passing through corners, its short enough to do it a tonne of times, and those who get "eliminated" can still participate for practise!

I was thinking, why not start febuary off fresh. SUNDAY FEBRUARY 1ST IS GOING TO BE THE DAY THAT THIS STARTS TO HAPPEN!
if all goes well and is super succesful, maybe we can do a second one in feb...but until thats determined, mark sunday march 1st down as well for the next one...

carly. the first.

anyone that can help with anything would be greatly appreciated. prizes, photos, spotting, smiles.
boards, spare gear, anything. please contact me

the womens series is about to begin...!
