$10 entry to cover the cost of fuel for all drivers!!! IF THERE IS ANYTHING LEFT, WINNER WILL TAKE THE REST! priority to the drivers though...
PLEASE, WORK ON YOUR STOPPING BEFORE SHOWING UP. IF YOU CANNOT STOP PROPERLY, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RACE. sorry, but these will not be "learn to ride clinics" this is a race series for girls that are already racing, or planning/wanting to start this season...you dont have to be good, you just gotta know how to stop!!!
feb. 1 is the only "clinic" date. we will go over some sliding and footbraking for a while, but please...know whats up at least a little, we will not be showing you how to stand on your board...we will have some mini races following the slide,brake and saftey demo. (racing corner sets with a partner through elimination rounds)
HELMETS AND SLIDE GLOVES MANDITORY (no leathers nessesary, unless your only comfortable skating with them)
race locations are undetermined right now, but i can say that all these events will take place in the NORTH/WEST VANCOUVER area.

i refuse to get sued becuase something happened at an event where my name is on the title...

if we get busted, we pack up and move somewhere else...no questions asked! if questions are asked by the athourities....THIS IS NOT A RACE!!!!! just some girls out having fun....with spotters and radios and filmers...haha!!!
BOYS! if you can/want to help with things like spotting, coaching, photography/filming, DRIVING...please feel free to drop me a line! I need help to make this as successful as possible so we can continue hosting them...any positive input would be greatly appreciated! please respect that these events are about the ladies though, so i will expect you to be working, not riding till the races are done...!

Ok well Erica and Myself will be comming to Van on the weekend of this event. I think we are gunna try to be in van by the 29th being a thursday, crash at Jprimes house, skate allday friday, crash again at Jprimes house, go to the satuday sessions, crash again at Jprimes house, go to the girls race, And yes I will probably be able to help, unless the guys are planning on going out and shredding gnar elsewhere. And then crash again at Jprimes house, and then leave in the morning.
Geez I hope Jprime is ok with that! haha
SO!! Im wondering if anyone wants to skate any of these days, lemme know.
Chances are I will be helping with the womens race, but i wanna shred as much of vancouver as I can that weekend.

hey thanks phil, and all the others that are planning on helping out and participating!
im really excited about running this (although i lack to show my enthusiasm at times, i really am) and im glad that it is recieving the support that i could only hope it would.
that being said, if you own/run or are involved with a company that would like to throw some swag our way for prizes, please let me know...you will be mentioned anywhere there is a place to mention you! and these girls would love to rock and support your stuff!
erica, and all other travelling girls...
for the time being, yes these are going to stay local events...not road trips quite yet. i understand that you wont be able to make it to all of them, but worry not becuase if all goes as planned this will just be the first set of races this season. im THINKING feb-april and then another set of races august-october...
soon enough, as the number of participants starts climbing, we'll look into hosting out of town events in the series, i think it would be bad-ass...its just not going to be this time around, sorry! if your wondering how winners/standings and stuff are gonna be worked, obviously the more races you come too, the better chance you have at getting overall...

Ladies! Weather network is callin for light rain on sun, which is cool cause this spot is super cool in the rain...you have absolutley NO USE for rain wheels! Haha!
Just a reminder that this will be the first day to collect points, we'll go over the layout on sun so you know what's up. For those of you that haven't heard yet, I'm running the womens class at the SHREDDER on April 19th, that race will mark the finale of the womens series...it will be set up so you can pay to just skate womens at a reduced price, or both womens and open for reg rate. The person with the most points at the end of the shredder gets a badass prize!
Remember that we have a pretty extended warm up and practice on the course before actually racing...so don't be too intimidated to come out on Sunday! Hope to see you all there!

I'm not sure what the entry will be, but probably around the 40 dollar range, give or take a few! Keep in mind if you race womens you get the practice heats in the morning and WOMENS heats only! Fuckin giver if you wanna enter both to get more runs!
