Depending on how much you crank your trucks down the Spherical pivot is actually a good thing! When you tighten trucks down enough they actually put pressure on the pivot pin (depending on the mechanics and arrangement offered).
A spherical pivot cup will allow the hanger to move (changing the angle slightly) but relieve pressure the pivot pin feels, especially for people that crank their trucks down substantially.
But if you ride your trucks within a happy medium then the hanger will be at the said angle and not really cause any issues at all.
Most non-precision trucks have enough of a tolerance and rounded end on the pivot pin that avoids the whole issue out of pure... well non-precision.

Look for Genghis Longboard Co's "APE Hanger" Trucks, they are stable, rock solid, and look totally bad ass. By far the best deal.
