Well, thats a record!
our guarenteed places were all taken up in a record 27 minutes! - congratulations to all of you who got in on time - and to those of you who have recieved wait list registration emails - don't dispare - I've already noticed a number of duplicate sign ups so there is more room then appears.
Next year, we will provide a more involved experience for all attendies - we did not anticipate this many signup sin such a short time span, not thats thats a bad thing at all - but, for future events, look forward to a prastise sign up round and some other features to ensure fairness all the way around.
Any comments or feed back that you ahve on the sign up proceedure - please hang on to - at some point next week I will be asking for feed back on this years process so that we can improve for next year!
I wish all you registered racers the best of luck @ Danger Bay 08 and the rest of you (wait listers) the best of luck cashing in on the cancellations!

I think it would be kinda cool if there were trails. There are so many people trying to enter races now that if each state or city or something had trials then the winners would get to go

I got a screen that said "You have succsessfully been registered for Attack of Danger Bay 8 ... An email has been sent. You should receive it shortly.", but I never got the email.
Mischo registered 30 seconds later and got a message that said, "an internal error has occured, please retry your request. If this problem persists, please contact a system administrator."
Is Mischo in? Do I need to worry about not getting the email?

Its hard for me to see straight.
I will put together a method for the emails to be resent on request over the next couple days. If you are unsure for whatever reason about your sign up status - please sign up again.
If you get the message that your email address is already signed up - then you are already signed up.
If your sign up goes thorugh - then you are now signed up.
the guy calling himself "charts" - I don't know who you are - and using caps and swearing - I frankly don't give a sh!t either. - play nice, or don't play - thats how I roll.

Mischo - I don't immediatly see you in the list - please sign up again just to be sure. ( I believe you (being who you are) may be on a different list then I have, I'm not in control of everything, nor do I know everything - but there's no harm in being doubly sure. - and there are so many enteries - I don't trust my eyes at the moment
Again, please save your feed back regarding the sign up process for next week - we'll be opening a thread dedicated to that topic in short order.

My question on her behalf is, if she missed sign up for open... Are we still gonna be able to drop her into womens heats? I was kinda lookin forward to making her cry on race day... But it seems as if the job is already done via registration.

And as far as reserving spots go...top 50 from the previous year should have reserved spots.
One day, a dream of a 2 day danger bay should come true...that would be badass! Qualifying and first elimination round on day 1, and sick, well deserved racing on day 2!
