last night ColoRado ripper Kawika Omoto had a disasterous wreck.He went under a Gaurd rail with Venom Zak @ 95k.Zak is OK. Kawica is in the ICU with MULTIPLE spinal fractures.
We still are unaware of his prognosis, but he will undergo surgery tomorrow to repair some of his back fractures.
PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM...PAGAN PRAYERS OF HEALING.LOVE.

Well i know a few guys that won't skate without them..it as important as a helmet. Once your spine is fucked..it will never be the same.

it's great to hear you're on you feet. a friend of mine just broke his neck in a couple places kayaking and it seems horribly debillitating. the best of luck and props for not quitting.

Stoked there's almost a happy ending to this..you're one lucky guy!!! That scar looks gnarly! I am a big supporter of back protectors,not much point havin a good head if you're paralysed. I'm very happy for you man and i hope you continue to heal miraculously!
