Smitty freaks out pub staff

So there we were, one fine sunny Sunday afternoon recently. BloodGoat, Alysa, Smitty and myself. Smitty picked me up from the failure called the BC Ferry system (thanks NDP!) and off to Blackfish Pub in Gibsons we went, for a DB8 Staff meeting, burgers and brews.
I got the cajun burger, topped in mushrooms and CHEESE, and proceeded to commit infantcide on my fries by drowning them in cajun hot sauce. DAMN THATS GOOD EATING! feel the burn feel the burn!!!!
couple of beers took care of that!.
anyways, meeting and good times aside, a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, i gave Smitty a wicked sharp Swiss Army One Handed Trekker folder knife. Long and short of it, Missus Smitty sure took a shine to that knife, and purloined it from Mr Smitty.
I had no idea until Smitty told me.....so at our meeting on Sunday I covertly passed him a paper towel wrapped Stag antler handled fixed blade in a beeswax treated leather sheath. Smitty was like "aw man, no way!!!" he was pretty happy.
well, the afternoon waned, we discussed a few issues regarding the DB8 camp, drank beers, Smitty drank coffee, we paid our bill and then off we went.
Smitty gave me the grand tour of the area. About 30 minutes into I got him to pull over, i hadda piss. I was thinking to myself.......did he remember his present?
got back into the newspaper truck and Smitty said "DUDE! WHERES MY CAR? um i mean knife...knife...i left it at the pub.
We both had that sinking feeling.......did'nt stop us from taking some hi-def pictures of a local stream though........
So we drive back to the pub, Smitty goes in and talks to staff......they had been quite surprised to unwrap the tissue paper and see the blade....of course Smitty just has to tell them that he was gonna go skin someone with it....JOKING JOKING!!!! Pub staff were wideeyed......hahahaha
an so ends another Sunshine Coast tale of Coasties stirring things up!
