Looking for beginner board

I just moved up here to Vancouver from country that was flatter than flat and want to learn to ride. With all of the moving expenses and I'm still burried with right now a new board is just too expensive. Any chance someone has a retired board they might be willing to let go of for fairly cheap to help me get started??
