Need help to plan my holidays in BC

My girlfriend and I are coming to BC from may 14th to may 24th. We booked a RV but we'd need a place to stay in Vancouver for thursday night (14th) only.
We'll be at Attack of Danger Bay from friday to sunday and then at the gold rush challenge in virginia beach (may 23rd). In between that we want to move around with the RV.
If you think of any activities we should do or place we should go while we're here, please tell us. So far, we want to hike a lot, do a 2/3days canoe trip, rafting, sea-kayaking with the whales... mostly outdoors activities. But we don't know the best places to do that. Any advice would be great help. Thanks!! See you all soon!

if you're interested in doing a day hike, there's plenty of good stuff around here! Two of my favourites are Quarry rock and the Chief
Quarry rock is in deep cove (the eastern most part of north vancouver). mellow hike up to a big outcropping of rock with an amazing view. Also in deep cove is some of the best kayaking, and you can rent kayaks from deep cove kayak. If you do go here, make sure to stop in at the Arms Reach Bistro for some lunch or dinner, you won't regret it!!!
The chief is a huge rock left over from the glaciers in the ice age. a lot of experienced climbers climb the face of it, but there's a path that goes up the back, and is really nice, with an incredible view when you get to the top (it's actually crazy high). This place is in squamish, about a 45 minute drive from Vancouver on the way to whistler.
