it will work, my buddy does it to cover up scuffs, but it will dry out your leathers in the long run, i would suggest not to, unless u want to

If you wanna do it the cheap way..just find a matching leather shoe polish to you leathers original colour or you can use an actual leather paint. Spray paint will ruin the leather cracks and peels. Shoe polish is a winner the ones that you need to rub in with a cloth by hand will last the longest..
