Vernon DH 2009 - IGSA North American Champs

Mischo posted,

Fantastic news everyone! I just got off the phone with the City of Vernon...

This years Vernon DH has been officially approved to 2 days and will now host the IGSA North American Championships! This will be the first time this title will move outside the US and into Canada. Streetluge and Buttboard are now included in the available disciplines. You do not want to miss Vernon this year!

With the event moving into a 2-day schedule we will have more time to get things done right. The event will begin on Saturday with Practice and Qualifying and wrap up early in the afternoon to enjoy some freeriding in Vernon. Sunday we will begin a bit later and have some Practice and Warm-Up runs before running the Race Heats in the afternoon.

The fine details will be announced in the coming days regarding pricing, registration and race rules and etiquette. The registration process will take place on May 1st. You must pay the Entry Fee at the same time as you register for the event using PayPal. A total of 200 racers maximum will be able to participate. The race website will be updated this weekend with all the information you need.

If you have any questions or arrangements you need to make ahead of time, please feel free to contact me via email at: info@vernondh.com

You can offer my spot up to someone else. I'll likely be in Europe that weekend... thanks though!
Have a great race Mischo and good luck everyone.

Miss that race!!!! Missed too many of them because of Munnsville conflicts. Hopefully next year.
