Flatspots

Leo posted,

Can you slide out flatspots from wheels, or once you have
em are they there forever? Do they even affect your
speed/slide much? Thanks!

K-Rimes replied,

Yes, you can slide them out if they're small, especially
on softer wheels.

They'll get worse if you lock up your wheels on a
regular basis, and will greatly effect your speed if you
let them get too large. Keep those slides rolling.

Leo replied,

Thanks guys, ill keep tryin to slide em out then! Makes
sense, I kept a slide straight on the access road and I
think thats what did it, that helicopter effect does
sound pretty sick tho :P racecar-ish

andrew in langley replied,

when you slide long straight slides, that is what does it ie stand ups, long laybacks, keep your arm swinging and you board movin side to side so that it doesn't flat em out. spacers help with this too, but if your sliding, flat spots are part of the game.
