Aero tucks, weight, whats the SECRET?

In straights everyone generally says that people with aero tucks and the most weight win. But that isn't true. Look at Scoot he is lightweight but with an aero tuck and mobs past heavier riders with good tucks in straights. The Roger bros they have american tucks, which aren't the most aero compared to a euro tuck but still mob. I just don't get it, it seems as if there is a secret to this?
