lorrie (wolf's mother) posted,

Hi folks, I, as you can see, am wolf's mother. I am also a writer. Which means that I am now starting to write about my son's passion, longboarding. I have been invited by Momsteam to contribute to articles to their site as it seems there aren't any other skateboarding parents doing so. In anycase. Some of the topics that I will include are of course SAFETY and GEAR. This is where I will be seeking input. I also want to know tips and advice that you would pass along to parents of riders. I have long since realized that if your kid wants to go fast, there is really nothing you can do about it, except hope that they do it smart. If you want to check our my blog (its about being wolf's mom) and the site please do.

I'll be writing about the upcoming Attack of Danger Bay and more. Look forward to hearing from you. cheers

haha okay, well i think one of the most important things is to start small, most peopl i know that i am trying to get to longbard say they don't wanna ride down a gnarly hill, but they don't get that you don't just go out and bomb the biggest hill around, you go find a shallow road with no traffic and some easy corners and get used to that, you slowly work your way uup.and helmets are good too
