From Horseshoe Bay...Make sure you get on the LANGDALE/SUNSHINE COAST Ferry, not the ISLAND Ferry! One wrong move here, and you will cost yourself half a day and a BUNCH of money.
CAMP IS NOT OPEN TO REGISTERED CAMPERS TILL 4pm THURSDAY! If you arrive early, unless you are expected, do not expect to get in! Get there early? Go skate! Respect the local community! Go shopping! Rona Hardware nearby...IGA, liquor store, OAK TREE MARKET, ATM, BUDDA BING BURGER all at Madeira Park.
DO NOT risk a DUI...There will likely be checkpoints up on the Coast. There have been in every year past. Save it for the camp.
Please be ready to check in when you get there! We don't want traffic to back up on the highway outside the gate. Be prepared to identify all the occupants in the car, so we can get you to the registration table and checked in!

haha, yah I got on the wrong ferry my first time and ended up far away from the Coast on another island. The people that work for the ferry had sympathy for me and refunded my money, but it took me hours to get to the Coast.
