just throwing out a reminder to the new kids comin up in the sport that if you're getting into some serious speed it really really pays to wear the proper gear.
been riding for 7 years & just last month I took a fall and if I hadn't had a full face, gloves knee pads and leather jacket I would've have shaped up so well. fell, slid about 30-40 feet, but no marks at all. got up, hopped back on and rode the rest. so kids. seriously, i hope I don't see any more of you out there without at least helmets. oh, and road rash + puss doesn't look so awesome when you're trying to impress the ladies. think about it. you'll read over and over again to put on yoru friggin helmets & gear, but at the least, the helmet.
