CLEANING YOUR BEARINGS
CAITLIN..langley posted,
i had to get a set of bearings off someone because i didn't have time to go get my set from someone's house, nor money for ferry there.
when i spin my wheels two of the wheels spin about two full rotations, another gets 5, another gets like.. 10
is it worth cleaning them? or do i just wait untill the opportunity arises and i get mine back?
and if so, tell me how you clean your bearings!!

Smallish Jar+ 8 bearings (take the rubber cover of them with a knife)+ as much 3in1 Oil (believe it or not Citrosine, 14% and up alchol and if need be WD 40 also work)
shake it up nicely, leave it for a day (or atleast 6 hours) let them soak, dry em off, put em back on and they'll run nicely.

dish soap and hot water dude
just take off the shields and clean 'em like a greasy pot
dry them off with rubbing alcohol to prevent rusting and then coat with mineral oil. anything thicker and it just gums them up
