Snapped randal baseplate

i was going to skate to the grocery store, i threw my board down and instantly ate shit. thinking my wheel fell off, i angrily walked over to my board. only to find that the baseplate on my front truck had snapped clean off just under the pivot cup.
i have only been riding them for about a month and just finished racing mt washington on them which is up to 110kph. so i was thinking how possible it was that they could have snapped at the race which was last weekend.
im just wondering if anybody has had a set of randals break on them while skating. and can i get a refund or something? a free baseplate? or does anybody on the site have a spare 42 degree randal plate?

see "broken randal DH and letter to randal" for pictures and a more in depth situation analysis of what was just said above.
if yours broke similarly you could have a decent case and most likely get some free shit. randal might start listening.
figure out what you're going to say before you say it because if you're agressive with them all you'll end up with is broken trucks.
