Saw that once before. Nice that they are trying to make better wood, but it's kind of hype because it is still wood, an imperfect and relatively heavy material compared to its strength. Because of this, manufacturers of other serious sporting goods gave up on all-wood products DECADES ago. Skateboard manus still make wood products solely because the bottom line is it's CHEAP.
I ride an all wood Evo but let's get real: it's a heavy fuckin' log. But it's not solely the manus fault; when more riders demand better and will pay for it, manus will respond.

Its nice to know that the boards I ride are made right here in BC; rather than some factory in China, where the manufacturers have never even ridden a skateboard...
