Hey folks,

this is the 2009 slope style wrap up post. Please post up yer photos or whatever here.

So ..... I think I need to start with two confessions . The first being, am a total slacker. The second is that I did not relly have the flu but i was in fact a little
hung over from my high school reunion. So thank you everyone for bearing with me and making the day run so smooth. Everyone was on time , prepared
with full tanks of gas, snacks and refreshments. I think it may be a first EVER for a coast event. You all ruled!

A few people were a big part of why things worked from an orgnising standpoint. so in point form please give thanks and respect where it is very due.

1) ADAM AUGER!!!!!!!!!
adam busted his ass this spring to get a santioned slope style in new west , only to get shut down in the very end by some extreemley strict police staffing
isues. we decided to do the outlaw together and it was going to be super dope and way more structerd than it has been in the past. But alas due to my first
admishion and other factors there was allmost no planning and we just threw it.
if it were not for him being as stoked as he was on every thing the out law would probaley not happend when it did.

I never acknowledged that on sat so i want to now and so should you next time you see him.

thanks bro. it would not happened if it were not for you.

2) Erin, AKA the coolest mom in the scene.

erin was the magic ferry who made shure that our gloves , t shirts , water bottles left with us and made it to the next spot. she also was a huge help in
keeping the nebours happy and to stop them from googleng " west vancouver police " so thank you very much Erin.

Keeping in mind that there was only four days notice ot this years event or it you want to break it down a little more 32 business hrs. people just showed up
with product and sponsered the slope style. no one asked for or expected anything but a good time. these guys thew down on the iceng on our fat shred
cake. Not only did they throw down, but they did it in style. about $1000.00 bucks worth of swag. yea thats right a
G-note !!!!!!!! thats a lot of iceng folks.

these people are about skateboarding and they are behind us 100% , Thank you.


4) Jody wilcox.

if you know how jody rolls you can probley see the conection between the two events.

thanks for staying true to the true force behind skateboarding. Whatever that may be.

5) STRIKER AND EVERYONE WHO EVER DID ANYTHING FOR COAST.

NUFF SAID IT THE TITLE ( AND YES THE CAPS LOCK IS NESSARY)

As for the riders and results.

the event was rider judged and got broken up in to two classes.

pro and am.

the division was if a rider was sponserd or not. its not super fair but it worked. Some people got kinda screwed by it like wolf for example. sorry man you
killed it.

there was practicaly no gap between pro and am so please dont value the results of the ams any lower than to pros.



The "pros" were consulted induvidually and the gist of the concensus was that

Graham ...." bradner" is a bad ass,

he walked off with the outlaw key. or actually he slid off with it.


I would like evryone to put your vote of top hoever many you want and any best trick or best crash votes you have.

oh yea i never thought i would say this but.

thank you to the west vancouver police who did show up and had nothing but positive things to say.

My favorite quote was ..."it looks like you guys have a good thing here"......

Any time you see us out there come and check us out.

you are some of the few people who actually understand what longboarding is. Feel free to fill in your
nebouring departments.
