Police Pulling Over Longboarders

I heard from someone recently that longboarders are getting pulled over and ticketed by police on the Sunshine Coast Highway (101) near Sechelt, BC, Canada.
They are apparently a nuisance to traffic.
Can anyone confirm this? I can't seem to find news on the internet about it.

over on sfu hill by school security/cops...
