October Safety Tutorials

There will be two safety tutorials coming up so riders can learn to footbrake, shutdown slide, pendulum and drift corners so as to be able to tackle difficult situations on the road in a safe manner. These tutorials will go on rain or shine. The dates are Saturday, October 18th and Sunday, October 19th. Meet at the Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver at noon on either/both days. Meet a half hour early if you want to make slide gloves!! I will bring materials.
Helmets are mandatory and gloves and pads are strongly recommended.
DAY 1 (Saturday): Interested riders will be able to get tricks and tips for footbraking and shut down slides. This day will be catered towards teaching riders how to stop safely.
DAY 2 (Sunday): Interested riders will be able to learn how to perform shut down slides as well as pendulums and corners.
These tutorials are FREE!! Those interested, please post here and/or email me so we can get a rough idea on numbers. Anyone wanting to volunteer with driving to predetermined locations and/or teaching the ways of the sport, shoot me an email.
