trucks
chris posted,
a question about trucks. if the baseplate
degree is lower then it is better for speed. if
it is higher it is better for cornering.
is this right?

if by cornering you mean carving.
and its not better or worse. a better way to think of
it is the higher the baseplate angle, the more your
lean translates to turn.
on trucks with a zero degree baseplate, you could
lean side to side with no steering whatsoever, and
on trucks with high angles the slightest mount of
lean translates into a lot of steering.
so really, how sensitive do you want your trucks?

replied,
yea, lower degrees will reduce how easy it is to turn but you'll have to lean more a higher degree makes it easier to turn without as much lean
low degree=less turning, more leaning
high degree=moreturning, less leaning
