cleaning and removing sphericals

well im not jim but; dissasemble hanger, remove spherical, wipe clean then place into ultrasonic cleaner,($40.00 from a store called the source) a few drops of dish soap and hot water from the kettle, turn it on and repeat process untill water comes clean. the hot water evaporates quickly. wipe clean and dry, then grease. the band around the spherical has two small holes, if you find a way to inject the grease into that, small carpet syringe(used to inject glue)this can be done on all sphericals and bearings. ahahahah some one tossed out a set of perfect bearings at the chan center, two where not quite spinning right. i picked them up and came home put them in the cleaner and ta-da, brand new. now i will give them away to some kid. these ultrasonic cleaners work great. it is a very CLEAN process. for bearings i use a type of oil we have in the army, it has silicone in it, that adheres to the metal.hope this is of some help.
