Hi Coast family,
After much soul searching and anguish, I have to report that I am staying in Florida.
Some of you may know that I was living in Canada under less than ideal conditions...Things were going badly for Joy and I, and that coupled with my seven year absence from my daughters' lives, compelled me to come home to Florida for an open ended visit.
Since I've been home, I have realized how much I needed my girls, and how much they need me...So I am staying here.
I will not be back for Danger Bay in May (and that puts a lump in my throat), but may be back in 2011. My intent is to try and get to Abq. for the Ditch Slap, and maybe even a Maryhill trip.
I want to thank ALL of Coast Longboarding for the warm, welcoming family feeling you have given me. My association with Coast and Danger Bay fills me with a pride I can hardly express...You are a very special group, and I am lucky and blessed to have shared even a moment of your glory.
For the rest of my days, wherever I go, I will talk about you...and the legendary nature of the Coast Longboarding Community.
If any of you find your way to central Florida, I am 90 miles from the few ride-able hills, here. Do not hesitate to look me up...I would be honored to show you my home state.
