olympic debate

well i just got back from rippin it up is south langley and ive been doing some thinking.the winter olmpics have tons of gravity drivin sports such as a crap load of sking classes a few snowboarding a few bob sled, luge and skelton. where as the summer olmpics have...... none i can think of. so we have people all over the world from all diffrent countrys competing in a sport where it take years of traning lots of skill and balls the size of bricks to do!!! so when is it our turn to show the world what we do and im not just talking about stand up i want to see all down hill classes to be able to repesnt there country.
so what do you think? time for some change?

i can think of several sports that have decided not to
pursue olympic status, because of the associated
bullshit.
right now, i think skateboarding is in a good place.

i remeber a debate about this a while ago and majority of the riders didnt want downhill skateboard events in the olympics. events organized by skaters and run by skaters. downhill skateboarding is already growing huge globally. there are so many riders at events now that alot of the time u end up getting 2 runs all day and sitting around bitching. the best events are the ones on a sweet track organized well enough that you constantly riding, getting to do more runs with different people learning different styles of riding. and a good party of course. thats a way too serious level of skateboarding and being in it for the money or just winning i think u bit of a prick. and "so called drug tests". do u just want guys like martin siegrest, mischo erban etc just turning up at events?
