the hump is actually alot easier than it looks. the portward side is cake but the cathedral grove side is a bit challenging. you could blast pobably 90k into those barricades turns. i've only done maybe 75 into them.

For a long time years ago I was the only longboarder in Port Alberni, Its great thats there are more now, I lived at 8th and argyle and would bomb down to the quay every day to blaze, but thats kinda gnar if you dont like cars and shitty cement lol and u have to stop for the tracks at an intersection busy with apd trucks and fish plant trucks, the dip is a short fast straight bomb, down argyle from EJ Dunn to Anderson is fun for someone slightly slower, and time the light from Zellers and fly down third, wait u cant do that its a 4 way stop there now....bunk, i come home to port and skate often, post up your info so I can get a hold of you to skate when I come back.
