Silent Protest Against the Olympics

Let's prove that we won't be forced to hide out in our homes, and instead do what us Vancouverites love to do instead: Party it up! Considering the excellent weather Vancouver's been having lately, why not make it a beach party!
Meet at the Vancouver Art Gallery at noon. After rallying all the troops we can, we will march East on Georgia, South along Granville, and then West along Davie until we get to English Bay. Please note that we'll have to stay on the sidewalks (with the exception of Granville) as there are no permits for this!
Things to bring:
-summer apparel
-beach ball
-frisbee
-beach towel
-boom box
-picnic food
-badminton
-sunscreen
-sunglasses
-sandcastle building tools
-beach umbrella
-camping chair
-warm clothes (just in case), but put your Hawaiian shirts on top!
-ANYTHING ELSE YOU WANT!!!

Haha, this is funny. Sure the olympics are a big waste of money and it sucks for a couple reasons you all heard of. I'll add my personal 2 only disapointments;
1.I now have to walk one more minute to the free shutle bus to take me to the lifts compared to the usual bus run.
2.They shut down the Brandywine sled parking lot and cannot sled that region for the same matters.
Inhaced police on hwy99 won't kill me, my radar detector went of at least 30 times last night when I drove to and back to North Van.
I will go check out the events, bring friends along with me, share the good stuff that all this thing can offer. Cause there probably is some good stuff in there. Open up your eyes and see that a lot of people are enjoying this.
So I got to say to you that wishes to protest, I really hope you will not look at any of this and live your revolution fully. I'll shred the mountain while it is supposed to be deserted. Fuck my life.
