Did I ruin my life?

Hi Coast, I'm new at longboarding and I recently purchased a new sector 9 bamboo series pipeline complete with sector 9 wheels (not race forms) and chargers for $225.00. I plan on learning how to slide and do some faster and bigger hills, cruising and stuff. I already have pink powerballs. My friend told me to go here and buy some used randalls or bears or something and a used hellcat or dropspeed. But i didnt listen to him and got the S9 complete because it was pretty. So did i just ruin my life lol?
Thx who wants to fix it?

you didn't ruin your life, the wheels might be a little harder to slide than others, but it's doable. I would up grade to a more solid board ( can find use'd ones here for cheap) something larger and less flexy. Hope i somewhat helped
