Longboarding as an Olympic Sport

Hello!
Writing a research paper for school is tough, especially when there isn't much you are passionate about. But there is one thing that I would love to make possible and that's Longboarding being recognized as an Olympic event. I am going to send my research paper into the IOC and its many affiliates, but I need your help first.
I need a few opinions or goods words of encouragement from the Longboard Community.
Why do you think Longboarding should be recognized in the Olympics? The IOC recognizes Freestyle and Trick Skateboarding, but not Longboarding.
I don't know how many people agree with me, but if you do, and think that you have some helpful information, please send it my way!
This is going to be a serious research paper that will hopefully be considered for the next summer and winter Olympic Games.

A highschool student that's not passionate about very much named 'LA SMASHA' is going to get us into the olympics....

For a sport to be considered being added to the Olympics first of all, they need to drop an existing one.
Secondly, it needs to be governed by an international non profit organization...Which we don't have.
