I think we all know how heaty the BPs have been getting. With dryer weather, longer afternoons and racing season approaching, we are all throwing urethane onto the asphalt and where better than the BPs.
A constable Hunter pulled over my vehicle being driven by a not very stealthy ninja a few days ago and between all the bullshit of trying to get my car out of the impound lot the friendly cop and I had a discussion about longboarding.
He warned me that the West Van Police Chief is getting "pretty pissed off" with how many calls they are receiving about longboarding in this area. The officer told me that when they get a call now, it's MANDATORY for them to respond and issue bylaw tickets.
So, there's your warning. Wave and smile at home owners. Stay in your lane. Ride safe.
....and outrun the cops!
