"You guys in Pender who aren't as careful as you could be, you're scaring people. When you scare people they get pissed off, and when they get pissed off they complain to authorities.
I love seeing longboards in Pender Harbour, so please don't give anyone reason to ban you. Believe me, there are a couple of people who would love to see that happen.
DO NOT GIVE THEM A REASON! Stay in control, make yourself visible, don't force anyone to swerve or brake to avoid hitting you, don't cut in front of anyone, don't creep up beside them and scare the crap out of them. Don't give them a reason.

local pender rider ethan here strike is right but theres a couple things you need to realise here,
one being ive noticed (at least to me anyways) that theres 2 groups of boarders in pender: theres the ones who ride and want longboarding to bbe preserved here and the other group that just uses a longboard to get around, and dont really give to shits about the rest of it casue as soon as they get a lisence or watever the board will go in the closet, garage ect.. and never be seeen again until it ets sold or thrown out or watever and their really the main problem.
especially with helmets and stuff, i dont know hhow many times ive said where the fuck is your helmet just to hear "i dont need it im not bombing a hill" "this is just to get around i dont need a helmet" however many ways you could say it. so what just haveing the board makes people thing that your one of us and im tired of hearing people bitch about it. AND RESPECT THE CARRS AND TTHE PEOPLE IN THEM
and on the note of night riding and reflective vests everones guilty on that, but i just got one and i intend to use it to full extent at night now and hope that other people follow the example
and to the people posting as your mom and spyder GO SUCK A DICK you obviously dont know kmac or like him (yes hes had a problem with flipping off cars but hes workin on it and hes not just some low life douchebag. your obviously just trying to start shit so if your local lets take it away from coast il be in madeira in an hour with kmac so why not man up and come here say it to his face. and if its local groms sayin that dont bother commin to skate with us anymore, or even try to if you havent alredy.
if things dont start to turn around soon im going to start taking boards till people learn to wear helemts and shit. il probly get some flak for this and ya stealing is wrong but il be dammed if im gonna let longboarding in pender get wrreckted casue of thoes shits that only care about getting from point a to point B and dont give 2 shits about whattheir riding and how it reperesents the rest of us. and a side note to that any boards i take i wont use sell or rip off in any way and will be returned when decide that its cool enough or not too much hasle or whatever, dont mean to be a dick here but theres some people that really dont get it
to anyone local this is ethan, im not a dick im just really fucking tired of people bitching at me all the time for people not wearing helmets, reflective gear . disprescpeting cars ect... especially when alot of the cause of it isnt the people in pender who actually ride

Everyone has their reasons to not wear helmets or reflective gear, but it doesn't matter , if we don't start taking this seriously, something bad might happen. It's never O.K. to wait until it's too late to change.
I use my board to get from point A to point B, and I will always use my helmet because you never know when a car or even a little rock is going to throw you off balance.
Let's all be nice about it. No one wants to be told what to do, but the next time you see someone riding dumb, let them know they are ruining it for the rest of us.
